Since 1982, RAISE28 has provided thousands of underserved children and teens in the Lancaster County community with free access to counseling, after-school tutoring, mentoring, and recreational programs. This is possible through the generous donations of community members, businesses, and foundations. All of our programs are offered with zero cost to the students or their families.
The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development allows state tax credits for organizations conducting business within Pennsylvania when they make donations to an eligible Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) program. RAISE28 is a recognized EIO and has multiple programs currently approved with the state, including our early elementary Reading at RAISE28 program and our Music at RAISE28 programs
Your generosity helps RAISE28 provide mentoring, after-school programs, meals, recreation, and other opportunities that help children and families thrive. Every financial gift directly supports our mission and allows us to continue offering programs at no cost to those we serve.
We also welcome donations of new or gently used items, including:
Each August, RAISE28 provides local students with free backpacks filled with school supplies. We collect donations throughout the year to ensure every student starts the school year prepared.
