These Messaging Terms describe the terms under which Raise28 sends text (SMS) messages and how recipients consent to and manage enrollment in our messaging program.

1. Program Description and Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in to Raise28’s text messaging program, you agree to receive recurring automated informational and promotional text messages about Raise28 programs, events, updates, reminders, and opportunities.

You consent to receive messages at the phone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase or participation in any Raise28 program. You may opt in via a web form, keyword enrollment, or another approved method. A confirmation message may be sent after enrollment.

Standard message and data rates may apply.

2. Message Frequency and Content

Message frequency varies based on community events, program schedules, reminders, and fundraising activities. Messages may include:

  • Announcements of upcoming Raise28 activities
  • Schedule updates and safety notifications
  • Fundraising appeals
  • General community information

Raise28 reserves the right to adjust the number of messages and the sending number or short code at any time.

3. Consent and Compliance

You affirm that you are the listed subscriber or have permission from the mobile account holder to receive messages at the number you enroll. Raise28 adheres to Twilio’s Messaging Policy and SMS compliance guidelines, including honoring all opt-in, opt-out, and help requests.

4. How to Opt Out (Unsubscribe)

You may cancel subscription at any time. To unsubscribe:

  • Reply STOP to any Raise28 message
  • Or follow the unsubscribe link included in a message
  • Or notify us at office@raise28.com

After unsubscribing, you will receive one final message confirming your unenrollment. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

We will reply with information on how to unsubscribe or get additional support.

6. Messaging Costs and Carrier Liability

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile plan. Check with your carrier for details.
Carriers are not liable for:

  • Delayed messages
  • Undelivered messages
  • Network issues affecting delivery or receipt

Your mobile service provider is responsible for applicable rates and fees.

7. Change or Termination of Messaging Program

Raise28 may modify, suspend, or terminate the messaging program and these Messaging Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Continued enrollment after changes constitutes acceptance.
If you disagree with any change, you should opt out of the messaging program.

8. Privacy and Data Handling
